The FIT Sixth Asian Translators' Forum : Translation and Intercultural Communication: Past, Present and Future, co-organized by the Federation of Translators and Interpreters of Macau and the University of Macau, will be hosted by and at the University of Macau, from 6th to 8th November, 2010.The FIT Asian Translators’ Forum is an international conference and a significant event in the Asian regional translation community. The first forum was held in Beijing (1995), the second in Seoul, South Korea (1998), the third in Hong Kong (2001), the fourth in Beijing (2004) and the fifth in Bogor, Indonesia (2007). The last forum was held in Indonesia in 2007. After Macau,Malaysia is deemed to be the best place to be the venue of the forum in 2013
